Springtime has arrived
Here at Valley View Landscaping, we have been very busy with spring clean ups in between the rain. Now, if we could get the weather to cooperate and stop raining, we can finish our spring clean ups and move on to designs, flowerbeds and start installing some patios and retaining walls. We know our customers are patiently waiting for us to get to their landscaping needs, now if we can get mother nature to stop being so cranky.
We are growing and not just flowers
Valley View Landscaping is growing, thanks to our awesome customers spreading the word about our services. For this reason we had to do some sifting around, Ashley will now be working a couple days in the field doing landscaping, because of this Ashley needed more help in the office. We have hired Kerry in the office at Valley View Landscaping to work on construction and maintenance landscaping scheduling, ordering and billing. Kerry is a lifelong Kewaskum resident; she has been married to her husband Dan for 20 years and they have 2 adult boys. Kerry Is an avid gardener, anyone that knows her, knows she has a huge vegetable garden and beautiful flower beds. Kerry is hoping to meet you all at some point this summer.
Things to do in Spring
May is the perfect time to start your landscaping in your lawn and flowerbed maintenance. Time to tidy up your flower beds from winter, rake and remove all old leaves and debris from plant beds. Spring is the perfect time to fertilize your yard, trees, shrubs and most plants with a slow-release fertilizer. Always make sure to check that the fertilizer is made for springtime. Now is also a great time for you to try and control weeds from sprouting in your flower beds and yards, using pre-emergent weed control in your flower beds and landscaping will help control the weeds. Topping off your flowerbeds with a new layer of mulch is a necessity as well. Now your landscaping will be ready for the warm weather coming, especially if you just give it some love now.
