It’s that time of the year, the kids are starting to go back to school. Fall is almost here; the leaves will soon be changing, and things will start to go dormant. Remember if you need a fall clean up to give Valley View Landscaping a call!

September is the perfect time to plant your evergreens before the cold temperatures come rolling in. Planting evergreens in September can help their roots to get established. Don’t forget to water! To know if your trees are getting enough water dig down to the root zone and feel the soil. It should be cool and moist to the touch. If it feels to dry it needs more water and if it feels to wet, it is getting too much water. Make sure to water up until the first frost. Keeping the plant well-watered can help to avoid the plant getting dehydrated or stressed while preparing for the winter weather.
