Welcome to October!

Fall is here and this month brings Halloween, pumpkins and trick or treating. This month you will see the leaves change to reds, oranges and yellows and soon the leaves will start to drop a lot more. If you haven’t already give Valley View Landscaping LLC a call to get on our schedule for Fall clean up! We will come in and cut down all of your garden bed perennials and vacuum all the leaves that have fallen down. Doing Fall clean up helps to ensure healthy plants come next year.

Nothing says Fall like mums, asters and pansies. Let us put together a seasonal container full of color to accent your landscape. Adding a pop of color can make such a statement piece and add curb appeal to your home.

Spring may be quite a few months away yet, but some of the season’s prettiest flowers require advanced planning. October is the perfect time to plant bulbs to bloom come Spring. Autumn Blaze Maple: This tree has green leaves that change hues of orange-red in Fall. It can reach a height of 50-60 ft tall and 40 ft wide. Grows in zones 3-7. Prefers slightly acidic well-drained soil. Prefers full sun but tolerates light shade.
